Protect Our Defenders
WGSS Alum Constanza Astiazarán had an internship as a Casework and Policy Assistant at Protect Our Defenders, the only national organization solely dedicated to ending the epidemic of rape and sexual assault in the military and to combating a culture of pervasive misogyny, sexual harassment, and retribution against victims. During her internship, Constanza conducted legal intake interviews with survivors of military sexual trauma and oversaw client outreach.
Breast Cancer Prevention Partners
WGSS Alum Rebekah Frese had an internship as a Policy Program Intern at Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, which focuses on the intersection of breast cancer prevention and environmental health.
